“We hired Jacob (Trixy Valentine) to do drag trivia as a fundraiser for our organization after having worked with them many times in the past. They are the full package: welcoming, affirming, laugh-out-loud, entertaining, and educational. Our event attendees learned a ton about queer history while also participating in strut-off and lip-sync contests that got them out of their comfort zones yet more comfortable in the community. We were also able to raise awareness for the importance of our cause while Jacob uplifted queer voices and stories, past, present, and future.
